In lieu of my good camera, which I _BROKE_ (fuck fuck fuck), I bought a cheap little automatic.
And I've taken up sketching. I pretty much suck but it is great fun. The cheapest kind of tourism you can possibly imagine. And when you're doing something you know you're bad at, it is so relaxing to just do it, without thinking about the outcome.
Same thing with the cheap camera. Since I only have minimal control of the result (the viewfinder absolutely bites), I can click with abandon.
